Nooma is Here!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Celtic Mass, the next Nooma series is scheduled for Sunday, June 20 at 9:15 am and Wednesday, June 23 at 9:45 am. Blessings.
Nooma comes from the Greek word “pneuma” (like the spelling?) for Spirit.
Nooma is a DVD – based series of simple discussions on spiritual things in life, hosted by Rob Bell, pastor of the Mars Hill Bible Church, located in Grand Rapids and a leader in the Emergent Church movement. Nooma is about asking questions, open to all ages.
St. John’s will host Nooma on “Second Sundays” and “Second Wednesdays,” facilitated by Fr. Dan.
Our first Nooma series will be offered on:
Second Sundays, following the 8 am Mass; the adult Bible Study group will join in. Child-care is available. We will meet in the Theater Room.
Second Wednesdays, following the 9 am Mass. We will meet in the Common Room.
